Transnational Access


EPPN offered European scientists transnational access to 23 experimental plant phenotyping installations, at 7 different institutions, in 5 countries across Europe between January 2012 and December 2015.

Access was granted on the basis of proposals evaluated by independent reviewers and resulted in a number pf peer reviewd publications.

Transnational Access address young scientistand resulted in a  lot of new interactions.

 

Transnational Access addressed very diverse topics and projects from on over 20 different species

  • structural and functional traits
  • molecular traits from leaf to canopy level
  • from mechanistic understanding to screening mapping populations

The most frequently addressed topics focused on  drought, nutrient limitatioons and root properties.
