Training School: Deep Machine Learning for Plant Image Analysis

This half-day training session will introduce the key concepts in deep machine learning by convolutional neural nets (CNNs) and present examples of their use in the analysis of images of plants. The session will mix formal presentations with hands-on exercises using an industry-standard CNN development tool. No prior knowledge of machine learning or image analysis will be assumed or required, though a basic understanding of computer programming would be an advantage.
